Soccer Recap: Wrightstown Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Wrightstown was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against Howards Grove, falling 4-0. Wrightstown was not able to make up for their defeat to Howards Grove from their previous meeting back in August of 2018.

Wrightstown's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-5-1. As for Howards Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2-1.

Wrightstown didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marinette on the 20th. As for Howards Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Xavier on the 20th.
