Baseball Recap: Lee-Scott Academy Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lee-Scott Academy lost against Glenwood on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gators. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly five runs.

Lee-Scott Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Barrett Cook, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lee-Scott Academy's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9. As for Glenwood, they pushed their record up to 21-3-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lee-Scott Academy beat the Gators by a score of 2-1 later that day.
