Soccer Recap: Englewood Takes a Loss

Englewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the St. Joseph Academy Flashes. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly eight goals.

Englewood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for St. Joseph Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Englewood didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Riverside on the 11th. As for St. Joseph Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Mainland on the 12th.
