Volleyball Game Preview: Glenn Eagles vs. Pioneer Titans

Glenn is 1-7 against Pioneer since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Glenn Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Pioneer Titans at 3:15 p.m.

Glenn lost 3-0 to Cerritos on Tuesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Glenn was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.

Pioneer hadn't beaten Artesia on the road since April 15, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. Pioneer put the hurt on Artesia with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.

Glenn now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Pioneer, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Glenn suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Pioneer in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Glenn avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
