Basketball Recap: Atlanta Classical Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mt. Zion

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlanta Classical Academy). They snuck past the Mt. Zion Eagles with a 51-47 win on Wednesday. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 60-15 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Atlanta Classical Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sally Berry out in front who posted 29 points. With that strong performance, Berry is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game. Reece Perkins was another key player, putting up 15 points.

The win got Atlanta Classical Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Mt. Zion, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
