Tulare Union gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mt. Whitney Pioneers 96-33. The victory continues a trend for the Tribe in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won five in a row.

Tulare Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Stevenson, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose Romero, who went 6-for-8 en route to 12 points.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Tulare Union wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-49 win against Porterville on the 2nd. As for Mt. Whitney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-38 defeat against Reedley on the 4th.
