Summers County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 66-20 loss at the hands of the East Hardy Cougars. On the bright side, the 20- point performance marked the Bobcats' highest-scoring game to date.

Despite the loss, Summers County still got an impressive performance from Braxton Lambert, who picked up 107 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 126 yards.

Summers County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Hardy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Summers County is taking a road trip to square off against Mount View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Hardy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tygarts Valley at 7:00 p.m.
