Basketball Recap: Ottawa Hills Takes a Loss

Ottawa Hills lost against Forest Hills Northern back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ottawa Hills Bengals took a 71-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Forest Hills Northern Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Bengals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Huskies are ranked 149th).

Ottawa Hills has also been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Forest Hills Northern, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ottawa Hills will take on Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forest Hills Northern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Grand Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Forest Hills Northern's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
