Baseball Recap: Kanab Takes a Loss

Kanab lost against Beaver last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kanab Cowboys came up short against the Beaver Beavers, falling 10-2. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kanab saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Warino, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Kolton Blomquist also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Kanab's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Beaver, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Coming up, Kanab will be playing at home against Milford at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaver, they will be taking part in a tournament against San Juan at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Beaver is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.
