Mansfield Summit has gone 4-0 against Joshua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mansfield Summit Jaguars will challenge the Joshua Owls at 1:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mansfield Summit has six straight wins, Joshua has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Mansfield Summit picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against Highland Park by a score of 50-40. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Scots are ranked 139th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Joshua ended up a good deal behind Shoemaker on Saturday and lost 66-49.

Mansfield Summit is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Joshua, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Mansfield Summit didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Joshua in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.
