Tocoi Creek waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Nease Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Toros: when they faced off against the Panthers back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The win didn't come easy: Nease scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Tocoi Creek pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Nease, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Tocoi Creek will face off against Warner Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Toros are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Nease, they will square off against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
