It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Peabody-Burns had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 59-20 win over the Chetopa Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Aiden Hurst continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 255 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry, and also throwing for 105 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Dalton Philpott was another major influence, as he rushed for 37 yards and ran in a TD.

Peabody-Burns was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 315 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Peabody-Burns' victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Chetopa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
