Voyager Academy won against Chapel Hill on Wednesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Vikings never let the Eno River Academy Bobcats get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.

Carrick Ryan was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Smith, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Voyager Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

Voyager Academy pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Eno River Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

When Voyager Academy and Eno River Academy next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Vikings will square off against Ayden - Grifton and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Voyager Academy 1.6, the Chargers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Eno River Academy will try to stop Vance Charter's three-game winning streak when they meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
