Baseball Recap: Syracuse Comes Up Short on the Road Against Snow Canyon

Syracuse had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 8-5 to the Snow Canyon Warriors. The Titans have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Syracuse saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dom Johnatakis, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Johnatakis a new career-high in runs. Caleb Wilson was another, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Looking ahead, Syracuse will face off against Canyon View at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Snow Canyon, they will welcome Lehi at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
