Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Santa Fe's Tenth in Last 11 Outings

Santa Fe won the last time they faced Jamestown and things went their way on Thursday too. The Santa Fe Chiefs walked away with a 49-41 win over Jamestown. The victory was nothing new for the Chiefs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Santa Fe was led to victory by Mia Lark and Emma Michael. Lark posted 17 points and six steals, while Michael went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Lark a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Mullins, who had ten points.

Santa Fe is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Jamestown, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Santa Fe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 28-25 defeat against Carrollton on the 1st. As for Jamestown, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tuscumbia at 6:00 p.m. Jamestown is facing Tuscumbia at the right time seeing as Tuscumbia is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
