Recap: Souhegan vs. Milford
Milford fell to Souhegan 12-20 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Milford had enough points to win and then some against Souhegan on Friday, taking their matchup 47-27.
The game started off well for Milford, whose offense put up 34 first-half points. Souhegan wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 34-7 heading into the break. Milford were outperformed in the second half 13-20 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The match brought them to 3-2 and dropped Souhegan to a mirror-image 2-3.
Milford will be playing at home against Kennett at at 7:00 PM next week. Milford will be strutting in after a win while Kennett will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Souhegan, they will face off against Pelham. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
