Softball Recap: Woodson's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Jackson-Reed hit Woodson with a 13-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors lost 16-2 to the Tigers. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Woodson fell to 2-1. As for Jackson-Reed, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodson will square off against Eastern at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Ramblers at the right time seeing as the Ramblers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Jackson-Reed, they will venture away from home to take on Coolidge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
