Edmonson County lost to Trinity back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-0 win over the Raiders. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matches in a row.

The result came thanks to Julie Norris's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Edmonson County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Price, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Edmonson County's record now sits at 14-12. As for Trinity, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.

Edmonson County will square off against Glasgow at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity, they will face off against Ohio County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
