Softball Recap: Sharyland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial last Friday, Sharyland came back down to earth. The Sharyland Rattlers fell just short of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Rattlers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Sharyland's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.

Looking ahead, Sharyland will head out on the road to face off against McAllen Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North, they will be playing at home against Rowe at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's favor as the team sits on ten straight wins at home while Rowe has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
