Football Recap: Park Place Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Discovery Christian last Friday, Park Place Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Crusaders were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of the East Rankin Academy Patriots on Friday. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Brandon Loper produced another solid effort rushing for 202 yards and four scores while picking up 9.2 yards per carry for East Rankin Academy. Those 202 rushing yards gave Loper a new career-high.

Park Place Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for East Rankin Academy, their record now sits at 4-2.

Looking ahead, Park Place Christian Academy will host Bogue Chitto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Rankin Academy, they will head out to face off against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
