McCleary came up big in Slidell's 5-2 defeat
Slidell was sadly handed a loss on Monday, but Bree McCleary did her best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, McCleary was still locked in as she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits.
McCleary and Slidell will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Belle Chasse at 5:30 p.m. Sadly, McCleary's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Slidell's five-game streak of wins at home.
