Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burkburnett, Bridgeport was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They strolled past the Lake Worth Bullfrogs with points to spare, taking the game 63-47. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulls as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Despite the loss, Lake Worth still got an impressive performance from Ayden Brooks, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. De?Jay Black was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Bridgeport's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-16. As for Lake Worth, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 16 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Bridgeport will venture away from home to challenge Krum at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Worth, they will host Castleberry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Worth is facing Castleberry at the right time seeing as Castleberry is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
