Volleyball Recap: Linn Bulldogs vs. Washington County Tigers

There's no place like home for Linn, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Washington County Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Linn never let Washington County on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22.

Linn found their leader in underclassman Geni Turk, who had 11 digs.

Linn now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Washington County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-16.

After both having extra time off, Linn and Valley Heights will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hanover on the 1st.
