Basketball Recap: Skiatook Comes Up Short

Skiatook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sequoyah Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Eagles are ranked 213th).

Skiatook's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Sequoyah, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skiatook will welcome Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sequoyah, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Salina at 6:00 p.m.
