Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton and Georgetown squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clinton had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Georgetown Royals. If the Gaels were looking for revenge after losing 63-52 to the Royals when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-3. As for Georgetown, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

As of now, neither Clinton nor Georgetown have any future games scheduled.
