Big Walnut and Anderson squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Big Walnut had to settle for second. They fell 29-22 to the Raptors. The Golden Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Anderson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cooper Kathman led the charge by picking up 118 receiving yards and one score. That's the most receiving yards Kathman has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Davis, who gained 68 total yards and two touchdowns.

Big Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Anderson, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Big Walnut does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anderson, they will challenge Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raptors will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine games.
