Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Jupiter Warriors out 4-3 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Cobras as they're now sitting on six straight.
They hit Jupiter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reinaldo Rocha (2), Xaviert Lara Hernandez, and Mathew Caceres.
Central's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Jupiter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-1.
Central will square off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. Jupiter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
