Football Recap: Spring Woods Tigers vs. Waltrip Rams
Spring Woods was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Waltrip Rams by a score of 23-20. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.
Spring Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waltrip, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Sharpstown the next time they take the field. Spring Woods will head out to face Sharpstown at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Waltrip will host them at 12:00 p.m. on October 5th.
