Basketball Game Preview: Tussey Mountain Titans vs. Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers

Tussey Mountain is 0-3 against Berlin Brothersvalley since February of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Tussey Mountain Titans will take on the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m.

Tussey Mountain is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of Forbes Road.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Berlin Brothersvalley against Meyersdale on Thursday as the team secured an 85-49 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountaineers.

Berlin Brothersvalley's win came from a few key players Tussey Mountain will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carson Janidlo, who went 7-for-13 en route to 15 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. Those six assists gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Haydon Hutzell, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points and four steals.

Tussey Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Things could have been worse for Tussey Mountain, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 71-52 loss to Berlin Brothersvalley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
