Volleyball Recap: Alta Finds Playoff Glory Versus Spanish Fork

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Alta walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Spanish Fork Dons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since March 8th.

Corbin Batista paced Alta's offense, picking up 28 kills. Batista got some help from Jameson Biggs and his 45 assists. Jayden Roberts controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Alta has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Spanish Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-15.

Alta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Viewmont on the 9th. As for Spanish Fork, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Clearfield on the 9th.
