Football Recap: Dwight Morrow Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kennedy last Friday, Dwight Morrow came back down to earth. The Maroon Raiders lost to the Pascack Hills Broncos on the road by a 29-14 margin on Saturday. The Maroon Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Dwight Morrow dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pascack Hills, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dwight Morrow will take on Lincoln at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pascack Hills, they will square off against Dover on Friday. The Broncos will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
