Baseball Game Preview: Springdale Dynamos vs. Apollo Ridge Vikings

The Springdale Dynamos will square off against the Apollo Ridge Vikings at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Springdale's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Springdale lost 15-1 to South Side on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Apollo Ridge came up short against Riverview on Tuesday and fell 10-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Apollo Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zac Myers, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Gage Wingard also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Apollo Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Springdale, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
