Soccer Recap: St. Joseph Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus, St. Joseph Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Fort Myers Green Wave out 3-2. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but the Flashes were the better team in the second half.

They hit Fort Myers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kyle Jackson, Luke Wilson, and Alex Altman.

St. Joseph Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Fort Myers, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-2 record this season.

St. Joseph Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Seacoast Christian Academy on the 7th. Fort Myers has also already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against South Fort Myers on the 7th.
