Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Gets the Win

The Lafayette Lancers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Rock Bridge Bruins on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Beckham Moses had a dynamite game, getting eight aces and four digs. Those eight aces gave him a new career-high.

Lafayette couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 58.6% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Rock Bridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Lafayette has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Vianney on the 3rd. As for Rock Bridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against De Smet Jesuit on the 3rd.
