After only two runs in their last contest, Northwest Guilford made sure to put some runs up on the board against Oak Grove on Saturday. The Vikings blew past the Grizzlies 17-10. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Reed Benamati was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Christian Gentrup was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

Northwest Guilford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .565. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Northwest Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Oak Grove, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.
