The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts will head out on the road to square off against the Snowflake Lobos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Mica Mountain is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over Lake Havasu. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderbolts sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Jaidyn Crist was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 157 yards and three TDs while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown. Those 31 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Kaden Watson also helped with two scores in total.
Mica Mountain didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lake Havasu to a completion percentage of just 44.4%. The Thunderbolts hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.22 or higher in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, while Snowflake put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Eastmark. The Lobos simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Firebirds 35-0. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Mica Mountain better focus on containing Jacob LaDuke and Brenner Green as the pair were huge in Snowflake's win. LaDuke rushed for 95 yards and a pair of TDs, while Green rushed for 163 yards and one touchdown.

Mica Mountain's record now sits at 9-2. As for Snowflake, their record is now 10-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Mica Mountain has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 157.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Snowflake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 163.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Mica Mountain beat Snowflake 31-24 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbolts since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
