Volleyball Recap: American's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

American can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Coral Park Rams 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was American who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-12, 20-25, 15-10.

American's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Coral Park, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American will square off against Southridge at 4:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Coral Park, they will venture away from home to square off against Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
