Baseball Recap: Concord Academy Comes Up Short

Concord Academy lost against Cannon back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Concord Academy Eagles came up short against the Cannon Cougars, falling 7-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Concord Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gray Madeira, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. That hit marked the first that Madeira got this season.

Concord Academy's record is now 1-4. As for Cannon, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord Academy will face off against Lee Park Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cannon, they will challenge Charlotte S at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cannon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
