Softball Game Preview: Lansdale Catholic Crusaders vs. Perkiomen School Panthers

The Lansdale Catholic Crusaders will face off against the Perkiomen School Panthers at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Lansdale Catholic will be strutting in after a victory while Perkiomen School will be coming in after a defeat.

Lansdale Catholic took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Archbishop Ryan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Raiders and Ragdolls 7-5. The Crusaders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Perkiomen School unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Monday. They took a 15-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of Abington Friends. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in April (11), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Cami Hannigan-Christian made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Tobin, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Perkiomen School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lansdale Catholic, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.
