Waunakee entered their tilt with Kimberly on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Papermakers by a score of 2-0. The Warriors were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Papermakers, so the Warriors were just returning the favor.

Leading Waunakee to victory were Amy Denkert and Kendall Scadden. Denkert had four aces and three digs, while Scadden had 14 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Scadden has posted over her last nine matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Kimberly lost, don't look at Emma Tesch. Despite the final result, she had 15 assists and seven digs.

Waunakee's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Kimberly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-10.

Coincidentally, Waunakee and Kimberly will both be playing Pewaukee the next time they take the court. The Papermakers will head out to face the Pirates at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
