Volleyball Game Preview: McKinney Boyd Broncos vs. Allen Eagles

The McKinney Boyd Broncos will face off against the Allen Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for McKinney Boyd: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Allen has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.

On Tuesday, McKinney Boyd was able to grind out a solid victory over McKinney, taking the game 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 25-17.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Allen and Prosper have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. Allen came out on top against Prosper by a score of 3-1.

Allen had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-22, 25-17, 26-24.

Allen's win bumped their record up to 34-5. As for McKinney Boyd, their victory bumped their record up to 13-16.
