 Two dominant  guards in  K.J. Windham and  Joey Schmitz are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Ben Davis Giants are on the road again  on Saturday and plays the Center Grove Trojans at 10:00  a.m.  on March 16th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 With a playoff game on the line, Ben Davis rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They came out on top against the Dragons by a score of  70-59.
  Mark Zackery continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 21 points and nine  assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mark White, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Center Grove waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with 14 straight wins  but they left with 15. They walked away with  a   68-56  win over Franklin Community. Winning is a bit easier when  your three-point shooting is a whole 22% better than the opposition, as Center Grove's was.
 Center Grove got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jalen Bundy out in front who  scored 18 points along with four  steals.  Peyton Byrd was another key contributor,  scoring 18 points.
 Ben Davis has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record  this season. As for Center Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
 Ben Davis barely slipped by Center Grove in their previous meeting  back in January of 2022, winning  44-43. Will Ben Davis repeat their success,  or does  Center Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
