Basketball Recap: Dansville Takes a Loss

Dansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Keshequa Indians, falling 66-42. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Indians are ranked 19th).

Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Keshequa, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dansville will square off against Canisteo-Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Keshequa, they will face off against Avoca Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Keshequa's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
