Softball Recap: Dunbar Tigers vs. Babcock Trailblazers
Dunbar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Babcock Trailblazers, falling 21-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in February.
Dunbar saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lisa Guerrero-Salinas, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1.
Dunbar's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Babcock, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
After both having extra time off, Dunbar and Booker will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th. Booker is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 27.8 runs per game this season. As for Babcock, they will challenge Island Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Babcock also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 11.7 runs per game.
