Carson Kirby's Big Game Leads Bixby over Edmond North
Starting off the list is Bixby's Carson Kirby, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Kirby threw for 231 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 67 yards.

He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 53 yards.
Miller might have his next game, a road matchup with Norman, circled on his calendar. When Miller last faced the Tigers back in September of 2023, he rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Phoenix Murphy stepped things up a notch to give Norman the 'W'. Nobody could stop Murphy as he threw for 288 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Norman pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Braeden Presley Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Bixby got the W thanks in part to Braeden Presley playing the best football he has all season. Presley rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards.
For the season, Presley has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 9.3 receiving yards per game.
