For the second straight game, Garfield will face off against Newton Falls. The G-Men will challenge the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Garfield's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Newton Falls' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Garfield fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Newton Falls on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-3 to the Tigers. The G-Men's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

For Newton Falls' part, their victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Leland Vargo, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Newton Falls has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
