Softball Recap: Glencoe Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glencoe can now relate to. They fell just short of the Locust Fork Hornets by a score of 9-7 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Yellowjackets have suffered since April 27, 2024.

Glencoe dropped their record down to 9-22 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Locust Fork, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

As of now, neither Glencoe nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
