Softball Game Preview: Bigelow Panthers vs. Wonderview Daredevils

The Bigelow Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Wonderview Daredevils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last six games Bigelow has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Friday, Bigelow had just enough and edged out South Side 4-3.

Meanwhile, Wonderview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Nemo Vista, falling 14-4.

Wonderview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacie Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Bigelow is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Wonderview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Bigelow took their win against Wonderview in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Daredevils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
