Basketball Game Preview: Hatton Hornets vs. Deshler Tigers + How To Watch

Hatton is 0-4 against Deshler since December of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Hornets will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Hatton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Hatton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Lamar County 89-66 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Deshler had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Sunday. They walked away with a 63-51 victory over the Firebirds. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 121st in Alabama, while the Firebirds are ranked 250th in Tennessee) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hatton's record now sits at 12-5. As for Deshler, their record is now 7-4.

Hatton took a serious blow against Deshler in their previous matchup back in January, falling 77-33. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
