Baseball Recap: Conifer Takes a Loss

Conifer was the 10-9 winner over Pomona when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Lobos took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers on Friday. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Conifer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Hogzett, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Conifer's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Pomona, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Conifer wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-0 win against Evergreen on the 10th. As for Pomona, they have also already played their next match, a 7-3 victory against Standley Lake on the 10th.
